Barbaresco Riserva 2009 Bricco Di Neive Magnum

Barbaresco Riserva 2009 Bricco Di Neive Magnum Dante Rivetti Piemonte

Bricco' is a local dialect, it refers to 'the best plot on the most suitable hill’. The old vineyards were planted on clay and limestone soil.

After harvesting, the grapes ripen for 24 months, usually in large barrels of Slovenian oak. A smaller volume rests on French barriques. After this the wine is placed in big barrels for a further 12 months, bringing the total to three years. The last 18 months of patience in the bottle are rewarded with the Reserva designation.

The Bricco di Neive is a bottle that gives great wine and unforgettable moments. Try it for example with roast duck stuffed with black truffle: an almost transcendent experience.
