Brunello di Montalcino

The Tuscan village, in the south of the province of Siena, has around 20 inhabitants per square kilometre. But the most famous villager is perhaps the Brunello di Montalcino. To be able to use this DOCG lass and name on your label, you have to meet strict requirements, such as mandatory wood ageing for 42 months.

Brunello di Montalcino is therefore a good choice if you want to buy wines you want to preserve. After 10 years the taste is exactly right, but you can also leave it for a few more years.
